Biography

Yhna teaches core undergraduate and graduate LIS courses and serves as the college secretary of the UPSLIS. She served as the President of the Philippine Association of Teachers of Library and Information Science (PATLS) for two years. She has presented papers in various local and international conferences and has also published articles in local and international journals. 

Yhna is one of the three fellows for the Teach and Innovate Like A Champion: PAMIL Fellowship Program. Hosted by the Philippine Association for Media and Information Literacy (PAMIL,Inc.), the fellowship is a one-year program aimed at producing MIL fellows who will champion MIL and take the lead in developing and pitching innovative ideas to promote and apply MIL education.
