Biography

Ms. Sharon Maria S. Esposo-Betan is the Head Librarian of the UP College of Engineering Libraries, with over 25 years of experience in library management and modernization. She pioneered the first Learning Commons in the Philippines and introduced wellness spaces for students. A Senior Lecturer at UP School of Library and Information Studies, she has led national library associations and advocates for sustainable library programs. Ms. Sharon is an award-winning librarian, including the prestigious UP Gawad Hall of Fame, recognized for her leadership and dedication to the profession. She holds a BS in Social Work and a Master's in Library and Information Science from UP Diliman.
