Biography

Jonathan "Nathan" Isip is a full-time archives faculty member and information officer of the UPSLIS. They work in partnership with the system administrator to facilitate technology adoption and they advise on data privacy matters in the school.

Their areas of research are on records management, data privacy, information governance, digital preservation, as well as emerging technologies for information science.

Nathan is a records management and data privacy consultant as well as one of the creators of the archives podcast and video series “for the record”. They also sit on the Programme Commission of the International Council on Archives as the Liaison for the ICA Training Programme and serves as chair of the ICA Training Programme Advisory Group. They are also a member of ICA's Expert Group on Managing Digital and Physical Records (ICA-EGMDPR) as well as of the International Council on Museums (ICOM).
