Dizon, Fernan
Biography
Dr. Fernan R. Dizon is a part-time, Senior Lecturer III at the UP School of Library and Information Studies. He is also the Division Chief of the Copyright Services Division, Bureau of Copyright and Other Related Rights of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines. Previously, he was the Division Chief of the Knowledge Management Division, Development Information Staff of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Head of the Library System, San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Manila, and former Executive Managing Director of the Knowledge Resource Center, Asian Institute of Management (AIM). He also held various positions at the Rizal Library, Ateneo de Manila University, where he worked for almost fifteen years. He also taught library and information science courses at the University of the East-Graduate School and at the Jose Rizal University-Graduate School for the Baliuag University’s MLIS program.
