Asst. Prof. Y. Santos gives lecture on research integrity

Last May 24, Asst. Prof. Yhna Therese Santos delivered a lecture entitled “Detecting Predatory Conferences, Journals, and Publishers: Strategies for Ensuring Publication and Presentation Integrity”. The webinar was spearheaded by the Research Management Office of the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), and was organized in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Commission of Higher Education and the 4th Higher Education Week. 


In her lecture, Asst. Prof. Santos discussed issues surrounding predatory publishing and its implications on research. She also provided some strategies to aid in detecting and avoiding predatory publishing practices and predatory conferences.
