Join us in welcoming our new faculty lecturers starting A.Y. 2022-2023!


Fernan Dizon has a PhD in Education, major in Educational Administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman. He also has an MLIS from UP SLIS and a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Library Science from UST. He is currently Chief of the Copyright Services Division of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines and has formerly held knowledge management posts at the National Economic Development Agency, San Sebastian College-Recoletos, the Asian Institute of Management, and the Rizal Library of the Ateneo de Manila University. Dr. Dizon will be teaching library management courses at the graduate level, as well as our undergraduate general education (GE) course on information and society.


Atty. Senando Angelo Santiago has a MSc in Data Science, with distinction, from the Asian Institute of Management alongside his Juris Doctor from the UP College of Law. He also has a BS in Materials Engineering from UP Diliman. He is a Law Reform Specialist at the UP Law Center and teaches legal bibliography, data science, and AI as a faculty of the UP College of Law. He is also a junior associate at JR Santiago & Associates Law Office and handles cases, renders legal opinions, and provides consulting on intellectual property. He previously worked at the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines under the Office of the Director General. Atty. Santiago will be teaching our undergraduate courses on legal research and legal bibliography as well as the GE course on information and society. He is also collaborating with our full-time faculty to develop a data science elective.


Rhoel Rondilla is the head of the College of Social Science Library of the University of the Philippines. He has extensive experience in Filipiniana, library marketing, and the publishing industry. He has a PhD in Public Administration from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina, an MLIS from UP SLIS, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from FEU. Dr. Rondilla will be teaching undergraduate courses on collection development, library management, and marketing; as well as Filipiniana in the graduate level.
