Five faculty members from the UP School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS) receive the 2022-2024 One UP Professorial Chair (PC) and Faculty Grant (FG) Awards.
Assoc. Prof. Iyra S. Buenrostro-Cabbab obtained a 2022-2024 One UP PC Award for Outstanding Teaching and Research in UP Diliman. Meanwhile, four faculty members each gained a 2022-2024 One UP FG Award for Outstanding Teaching and Public Service in UP Diliman, namely Asst. Prof. Yhna Therese P. Santos, Asst. Prof. Mark Anthony A. Santos, former Dean Asst. Prof. Kathleen Lourdes B. Obille, and Asst. Prof. Paul Jason V. Perez.
According to its guidelines, around 800 One UP Professorial Chair and Faculty Grant Awards were allocated in 2015 for distribution in all UP constituent universities. The awards were organized "to provide recognition and incentives to faculty members who demonstrate outstanding performance in two out of three work areas of the faculty: teaching, research or creative work, and public service."
