Last March 20th, the UP SLIS hosted a lecture attended by over a hundred participants entitled: "Unprude and Empowered: Embracing Our Sexual Selves" which featured Dr. Rica Cruz as resource speaker. This event was spearheaded by the SLIS GAD Committee as part of UP Diliman's Women's Month celebration. The theme of the celebration is: “Babae, Tuloy ang Arangkada! I-Phase-out ang Pahirap sa Masa”
SLIS is grateful to Dr. Rica for delivering an engaging and insightful discussion that encouraged active participation among attendees. We also appreciate everyone who contributed to the success of this event. The SLIS GAD Committee eagerly anticipates more meaningful engagements similar to this in their upcoming activities.
