SLIS Prevails in 2017 Librarian Licensure Exam

UP Diliman emerged as the top-performing school, with a 100% passing rate, in the Librarian Licensure Examination held last September 19-20, 2017. Twenty-seven examinees who graduated in the School of Library and Information Studies all passed the said examination.

Six of the SLIS passers garnered most of the ten spots: Sylvan Dan Macabante Moldes (2nd place, 89.05%), Albert Cantos Quebrar (3rd place, 88.65%), Kevin Vincent Macaraeg Enriquez (5th place, 88.30%), Michelle Anne Suetos De Leon (6th place, 88.25%), Adrian Philip Bias Luna (7th place, 88.20%), and Kia Cui Celajes (10th place, 87.90%).

The LLE was administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board for Librarians on September 19 & 20, 2017.

In an announcement made by PRC, 545 out of 904 examinees passed the Licensure Examination with an overall passing rate of 60.29%.
