This
year’s speakers include Dr. Niloofar Solhjoo of Charles Sturt University, who will introduce multispecies information science as an emerging paradigm; Dr. Alison Day of Victoria University of Wellington, who will examine the discoverability of queer collections in GLAM institutions; and Dr. Iyra S. Buenrostro-Cabbab of UP SLIS, who will revisit the notion of provenance and description in archival practice. Together, their lectures offer new perspectives on the intersections of identity and practice in libraries, archives, and information institutions.

The event is free and open to all. We welcome LIS professionals, educators, students, and researchers to join the conversation and reflect on the expanding boundaries of the field.
