Assoc. Prof. Iyra Buenrostro-Cabbab, PhD published a paper in the journal Archival Science entitled "The voices of images: photographs and collective provenance". Based on her PhD project, the article "draws on Chris Hurley’s parallel provenance, Tom Nesmith’s societal provenance, and Jeanette Bastian’s co-creatorship of records" to explore the interaction of collective provenance and a photograph taken during the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution.

Dr. Danilo M. Baylen and Assoc. Prof. Iyra Buenrostro-Cabbab, PhD contributed a chapter in the IFLA book on Bridging Research and Library Practice. Entitled "Developing Students' Research Skills in the Philippines", the chapter "explores how two library and information science (LIS) graduate courses in the Philippines equip students with research skills and experience in problem identification, literature reviewing, data collection and analysis, and presentation and communication of findings" and calls for the introduction of specific research skills in some courses in the LIS curriculum.

Asst. Prof. Jonathan Isip and Assoc. Prof. Iyra Buenrostro-Cabbab, PhD published an article in Comma, the journal of the ICA, that reports on the needs of early career archivists in Southeast Asia and their engagement with archival theory and practice in their respective work and professional experiences. The paper calls for national and regional mechanisms of collaboration in the region under the support of SARBICA and various national archives.
