The UP School of Library and Information Studies is proud to announce the appointment of a new College Secretary, Prof. Yhna Therese P. Santos.

Prof. Santos is a strong advocate of the Schools holistic approach to student care and well-being. She takes the post of College Secretary after serving as the Graduate Program Coordinator for the past five years. A graduate of BLIS and MLIS from UP SLIS, she is well acquainted with the processes of the School as well as the concerns and challenges faced by students. This background coupled with her research on information literacy makes her ideal to lead the Office of the College Secretary.

Succeeding Prof. Santos as the new Graduate Program Coordinator is Prof. Jonathan D. Isip. Prof. Isip is a graduate of BLIS from UP SLIS and of MA Archives and Records Management from UCL. He has served as UP SLIS Information Officer for the past two years. His background in information governance and different graduate perspective is well positioned to strengthen the OCS processes and student services.
We thank Prof. Rhea Rowena U. Apolinario for her service as the previous College Secretary and long-standing commitment to student welfare.
