Curation to Exhibition: Managing and Preserving Information

The UP School of Library and Information Studies, in cooperation with Arquivo Events and Imagine Realities, would like to invite everyone to attend Curation to Exhibition: Managing and Preserving Information on March 13, Friday, 1-5 pm at the UP Balay Kalinaw. This event is a benefit seminar to raise additional funds for the SLIS Building. The topics to be presented are File Identification, Characterization, and Prioritization Towards Digital Preservation by Prof. Jonathan Isip, File Management with Python by Prof. Paul Jason Perez, and Managing Digital Collections with Omeka by Prof. Janny Surmieda. There will also be an exhibition by Arquivo Events and Imagine Realities. These are two Filipino-founded companies that provide archival products and solutions.
