The UP School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS), supported by a grant from the Office of Extension Coordination of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development, UP Diliman. held a workshop entitled "Capacity Building for LIS Educators" last October 19-21, 2026 as part of their extension activities and support for the profession.
The capacity building featured sessions facilitated by the SLIS faculty. These included:

The Capacity Building for LIS Educators is an annual event offered by the SLIS.
