Starting 01 June 2020, SLIS will be accepting S2 (Shiftees within UP Diliman) and T1 (Transfer from other UP Units) through online submission of application for the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) program 1st Semester AY 2020-2021 intake.
(For T2-Transfer from other Schools applicants, go directly to the UP Diliman Office of the University Registrar or OUR. SLIS will get in touch with you as soon as we receive your evaluated application from the OUR.)
The application form and list of requirements are available online via the UP SLIS website (http://upslis.info/index.php/academic-programs)
Deadline of e-submission is on 10 July 2020.
Kindly scan documents and email to collegesecretary [AT] slis [DOT] upd [DOT] edu [DOT] ph with subject line BLIS Application - [last name]. Please include in the body of your email the following:
I am an/a [S2 or T1] applicant and I earned the following LIS introductory courses this 2ndSemester AY 2019-2020: [LIS courses taken].
If you also have taken other LIS subjects before the current semester, please indicate them as well.
Essay and panel interview guidelines will be emailed to you once application requirements are received and evaluated. Aptitude Test from the Office of the Counseling and Guidance (OCG) will be waived this application period.
