Our head librarian Ms. Jessie Rose Bagunu attended the 50th Conference of the International Committee for Museums and Collections of Science and Technology (ICOM-CIMUSET) held last October 23-27, 2023 in Seoul, South Korea. She also attended the Seoul ADEX 2023 last October 22, 2023 as a part of the pre-conference activities organized by ICOM-CIMUSET and NAMOK.
Ms. Bagunu presented a paper co-written with Mr. Clyde Morpos and Miss Miriam Charmigrace Q. Salcedo with the title Valued Sentiments, Disclosed Narratives: Seniors Accessibility to Science Museums in the Philippines. The paper explored senior citizens engagement with science museums and called for initiatives to expand access.
